Your Trainers for the Workshop
Nico Steyn
Nico Steyn is an award winning TV director, script writer, producer and presenter coach. As former Creative Director for M-Net, Producer at KTV and SuperSport and Speaker Coach for TEDx SA, Nico has developed and trained more presenters and speakers than most of us have had hot dinners!
Nico's warmth, enthusiasm and skill in applying Hollywood script structures to presentations can turn even a simple report into a blockbuster! He has extensive experience in leading business innovation programmes and developing original channels for entrepreneurs and corporates.
His singular interest in innovation combined with his background in broadcast, has made Nico a recognised thought leader in online television as a strategic business tool. He also consults to the Professional Speakers Association of South Africa.
Anne Williams
Anne is a broadcaster and a familiar name in the South African arts and entertainment industry. One of the first SABC television presenters, her work spans from continuity announcer to presenting numerous ”live to air” magazine programmes. On radio, Anne has been a newsreader, arts reviewer, interviewer and programme presenter. Stations include SAfm, Classic 1027, 5fm and LM radio.
Holding a BA degree in English, and Speech & Drama, and teaching qualifications from Trinity College, London, Anne is an accomplished voice artist and vocal and presentation coach. She has trained TEDx speakers, Incubation Hub interns, taught concept generation and production at Wits School of Arts, and short form genre and on-camera skills to UJ Honours Television & Journalism students. At Intellilab, a University of Johannesburg company, she shared her experience in transmedia development and television training.
Anne is a multi-award winning television director and producer.
